Where it started

Passion projects

Personal projects from before my professional engineering career.

Artworked music player with album artwork and track previews

Personal project iTunes artwork finder

Find original-quality iTunes artwork and preview tracks for your music library.

  • React
  • Redux
  • iTunes API
Read project

The idea

I wanted good-quality cover art for my own music library. Artworked grew out of that small, personal problem.

My role

I designed the interface and built the frontend with React, Redux, and the iTunes API.

What it does

Search for music, download artwork in its original quality, and listen to a preview. Audio previews started as a last-minute addition to the artwork finder.

Picasso palette editor with five generated colors and a save action

Personal project Color palette builder

A full-stack app to generate color palettes and save a personal collection.

  • React
  • Node.js
  • PostgreSQL
Read project

The idea

Bring palette generation and a saved color collection into one place, with an account to keep track of the combinations you like.

My role

I collaborated with another developer to build the frontend and backend from the ground up, working on the interface and the REST API.

What it does

Generate color palettes, create an account, and save palettes for later. The app pairs a React frontend with Node.js, Express, and PostgreSQL.
